In January 2006, the Productivity Commission released Australia's Health Workforce, a report examining the current state of the health workforce and making recommendations for future directions. The speakers at this Roundtable responsed to the Productivity Commission's recommendations, and questioned whether the proposed strategies can provide long-term solutions.
